Is this a lawyer's letter? It doesn't seem like it. It feels more like a warning for me to transfer the domain to them for free.

I'm planning to renew it for 5 years and use it for my personal blog, ignoring their request.

Can any experienced individuals share their experiences?

I would never register this domain in the first place. It is a 100% trademark, since the word "haleon" makes no sense and has no meaning. To be honest with you, I do not believe, that they are trying to play with you.

My personal opinion on this - give it away/transfer it to them and never register any trademarks in the future. Take it as a free lesson.

for me the letter seems authentic. i would just delete the domain name
