interesting discussion unfolding.
To set the record straight, I appreciate the domain offer, as well as suggestions to discuss portfolio sales and the "friendly warning" about being taken advantage of. But that's the nature of commerce - assets hold different value to different people. And right now, the domain portfolio is a side show for me, so occasionally, I will likely misjudge the value of a domain.
After all, I just sold one of our better domains under value to test the Sedo auction format (the results of which in this case were somewhat disappointing, considering it was likely the right time to offer a Cannabis-themed domain). Sure, if that domain next sells for 10 times what we received, I'm gonna throw up in my mouth for a bit, but it just means someone with better connections, or better end customer understanding put in the legwork and secured a good deal for themselves. Equally possible to see a high-end project developed there that makes the purchase price back in a day in revenue, but again it means someone put in the effort to develop that project...
