Hi everyone,
as requested by webplanet, a short user introduction.
First of all, apologies for writing in English. While Google Translate is great, and my girlfriend learns German, this won't get me past a few lines. Hope this will be ok.
I am indeed located in HK as webplanet assumed.
Secondly, I won't be the most active of users - we've only got a small(ish) portfolio of .DE and .NL domains, mostly drops from around 2008-2010, and some hand regs, and a few select (probably misguided
) purchases. Probably few people know that one of the big US portfolio companies were running their tech out of Hong Kong in the early 2000s.
This is not my main business today, but it still creates a small revenue stream by selling off domains to what we think are mostly end customers. The domains are often English key words under the European TLDs, though also some native language ones (in as far as we could figure them out). To illustrate this point, our last few sales were piping.de, foodblog.nl, cat-shop.de, myroom.nl, all in the low 3-digit EUR space as sales prices.
